Christina, a student from London, travels to her family's castle in Montserrat for the reading of her recently deceased father's will. She's never met him, and on arrival, she discovers that the castle is said to be uninhabited. As she navigates the eerie atmosphere, she meets her uncle, his wife, and their daughters, as well as a blind girl. When her stepmother, who's on her deathbed, dies after urging Christina to leave the castle, the young woman starts to blur the lines between reality and her vivid daydreams and nightmares.
