A young man, Govind, is forced to marry a woman named Pushpa due to circumstances surrounding an unknown pregnancy. After Pushpa's death, Govind and his sister relocate to Bombay, where he falls in love with a superstar named Gitika. However, their happiness is threatened by Johnny and his brother, who seek revenge against Govind for defending a young woman and humiliating them. Govind also tries to help local hawkers and traders, but is falsely accused of being a fraud and his sister is brutally attacked. The story follows Govind's quest for justice and revenge against those who have wronged him.
