Erik Estrada plays Julio, a military personnel, and Faye Johnston plays his girlfriend, who later becomes his wife. They get married in San Diego, California, and welcome a baby boy. Julio is deployed overseas, and when he returns, he finds Faye running a school for teenagers, teaching various skills. Despite initial challenges, the couple reconciles and becomes mentors to the youth, inspiring them to become better citizens. The story ends with a happy Fourth of July celebration, where the youth participate in a parade and people come together to motivate and inspire one another.
