Harvey Lippe, a janitor at a small ski resort, lives a lonely life as a hermit in a trailer. He's angry and miserable due to being abandoned at an orphanage as a child. His only friend is Lucas, a rough-around-the-edges town drug dealer who has a big heart. One day, Harvey meets a stray husky, which he names Inca, and through her, he meets Dakota, a dancer at a local strip joint. The three form an unlikely family, and Harvey's life begins to take a turn for the better. However, when Dakota betrays him and Inca is injured in a snowmobile accident, Harvey must decide what's worth fighting for and start his true story.
