Another Man's Poison

Janet Frobisher, a mystery writer, lives alone in a dark English country house, where she engages in an affair with her secretary's fiancé. Her peaceful life is disrupted by the arrival of George Bates, who claims to be the partner in crime of her estranged husband. Despite her efforts to evict him, George becomes increasingly entrenched in her life, leading to a deadly game of cat and mouse.
