Buck arrives in a new town, where his notorious twin brother Gil Brady is also hiding. However, their reunion is cut short when outlaw Benson seeks to claim the Todhunter ranch for himself. Benson's henchman kills Todhunter, and he then accuses Buck of being his twin brother Gil and the murderer. Buck narrowly escapes a lynch mob with the help of his friend Spud, and must now work to clear his name and prove Benson's guilt.
