The film follows the story of a teenager named Cody who discovers that his parents have been brutally murdered by a group of intruders. He manages to escape and finds his way to his uncle's business in Long Beach, where he meets other members of the "Carpathian American" society, a group of vampires who enjoy drinking human blood.
