Master Duper, a villainous figure, is determined to get his hands on classic silent film negatives to sell prints to film enthusiasts worldwide. He targets the Association of Film Distributors (AFD),obtaining a copy of the complete negatives for the silent film GREED by hypnotizing the transport driver. The AFD board then decides to donate the negatives for another film to a museum, but Master Duper strikes again, this time making copies despite the presence of Captain Celluloid, who is tasked with protecting the negatives. As the chase continues, Captain Celluloid faces off against Master Duper's invisible henchmen, but a break in the case comes when one of the henchmen reveals that Master Duper is actually another AFD board member.
