Captain John Allister of the U.S. Cavalry arrests four men for attacking Indians and stealing gold, but they escape and the main suspect, Greeley, is accused of complicity. Allister joins the Indians and is attacked, but repels the attackers. Meanwhile, his son, Army Lieutenant Wilbur Allister, is framed for killing a Mexican by gang-leader Lee Burgess and his accomplices. Captain Allister must now prove his son's innocence and the guilt of the others.
