World War II brings significant changes to Arizona cattle-ranch owner Steve Bradley's life. He joins the army, leaving his ranch in the hands of his cousin Tex. Upon his first furlough, Steve returns to find that his cowboys have been replaced by cowgirls due to wartime manpower shortages.
