Wells Fargo agent Whip Wilson assumes the identity of Ranger Raymond after the latter's murder, becoming the new town marshal and vowing to take down gang leader Jarvis and his boss Devin. Unbeknownst to Whip, Mason is the mastermind behind the gang, and when Raymond's sister arrives and Whip's true identity is revealed, Mason plots to have Whip arrested for Raymond's murder.
