In 1536, an alchemist in Veracruz, Mexico, creates a device called Cronos to grant eternal life. In the present, an antiques dealer named Jesus Gris discovers Cronos inside an ancient statue and accidentally activates it. As he grows younger, a stranger named Angel de la Guardia visits Gris's shop, buys the statue, and then sends his henchmen to retrieve Cronos, no matter the cost.
