In 1911, 12-year-old Sophia is punished by her abusive father for playing in a forbidden room. He forces her to bury her dolls in a backyard grave, then accidentally kills her. To cover the crime, he buries Sophia with the dolls. A century later, bullied teen Guy Fillbrook moves into the same house with his family. When the bullies return to torment Guy, Sofia's vengeful spirit possesses the dolls, bringing them back to life to avenge Guy.
