Don't Get Personal background

Don't Get Personal

Elmer Whippet, the owner of Whippet Pickles, becomes obsessed with the apparent feuds between radio hosts Mary Reynolds and John Stowe, misinterpreting their scripted arguments as real.

Elmer Whippet, the new owner of Whippet Pickles, sets out to meet the stars of the company's sponsored radio program, mistakenly believing their on-air arguments are genuine. In his quest, he's tricked into meeting a secretary instead of the actual star, Mary, and mistakes the writer for John.
