Captain Willoby and his men are stationed on remote Midi Island after World War II, but their occupation is disrupted by the friendly island women, who test their resolve to refrain from fraternization. The situation becomes more complicated with the arrival of two women, Diana and Angela, who are a missionary's niece and a journalist respectively, and the island king's gift of a beautiful "wife" named Rozouila.
