A long-term couple, Chester and Tessie, are finally getting married after 15 years together and 5 years of engagement. However, Chester's reluctance to marry stems from a secret: he's a sleepwalker. As they prepare for their big day, Chester's boss, Mr. Frisbee, is being difficult about giving him time off. Desperate to impress his boss and secure a lucrative contract, Chester takes Tessie to a lakeside resort to meet the wealthy owner of a doll company, Horace B. Stanton.
