Emily

In the 1920s, Emily, a young woman from a once affluent family, visits her mother at their estate in England. Seeking to lose her virginity, she's surrounded by opportunities. Her mother, a lonely and attractive woman, has a secret affair with a wealthy man who pays her debts in exchange for intimacy. He also has his sights set on Emily. Next door, a middle-aged married artist offers Emily a modeling job, and a romantic connection develops between them. Emily sees this as a platonic exploration, not losing her virginity. She's also drawn to a young American visitor and the maid's soldier lover, who both offer their assistance. As Emily becomes aware of the hidden desires of those around her, she's overwhelmed and ultimately makes a choice that will change her life.
