A doppelganger's presence on the big screen sparks an obsessive quest for a man to find his identical twin.
Adam Bell, a Toronto history professor, feels stuck in a routine with his live-in girlfriend Mary. His life takes a turn when he discovers an actor, Daniel Saint Claire, who bears an uncanny resemblance to him. As Adam delves deeper into Claire's life, he becomes fascinated by their identical appearance and learns that Claire is a married father-to-be.
