The James brothers, Frank and Jesse, and other former Confederate guerrillas, including the Younger brothers, Bob and Charlie Ford, Clell Miller, and Arch Clements, turn to a life of bank robbery, train heists, and coach robberies after feeling oppressed by Chicago railroad investors. Meanwhile, the Pinkerton agency is determined to capture them.
