Grips, Grunts and Groans background

Grips, Grunts and Groans

Curly, a hapless individual, is unexpectedly thrust into a wrestling match against a formidable opponent, but finds an unlikely ally in a spectator's perfume.

The Three Stooges become the trainers of a champion wrestler named Bustoff, who has a big match with a lot of money riding on the outcome. The boys are tasked with taking care of Bustoff, but they accidentally knock him out. Curly disguises himself as Bustoff and takes his place in the ring, but things don't go well until he catches a whiff of "Wild Hyacinth" perfume on a lady fan, causing him to go wild and knock out his opponent and many others in the audience.
