A hillbilly family is preparing for Thanksgiving by fattening up a turkey for dinner. However, a jealous Daffy Duck tries to sabotage their plans by pretending to care for the turkey's well-being and urging it to lose weight. Meanwhile, Daffy secretly gorges on the food, and when Thanksgiving arrives, the turkey is too thin and the hillbillies turn their attention to an overweight Daffy instead.
