Cowboy actor Jeff Carson, fresh from wrapping up a film project, heads out on a camping trip, only to find himself entangled in a rancher's dispute with a ruthless protection racketeer, Kramer, when he takes a job at Joyce Butler's ranch. When the Butlers decline his offer, Kramer retaliates by causing chaos on the ranch, stampeding their cattle.
