Ken Murray, a relatively unknown performer from Kingston, New York, arrived in Hollywood in 1927. Instead of sending postcards, he bought a 16mm camera and filmed Hollywood stars, sending the footage to his family. This movie is a compilation of his footage, taken over 35 years, along with additional professional footage from his Hollywood friends. The film captures stars on the street, on set, and at home, showcasing both established and up-and-coming talent. Murray narrates, sharing stories about the footage and the personalities involved.
