Home in Oklahoma

Two journalists, one from a small town and one from a big city, team up to crack the case of a murdered rancher and unravel the mystery surrounding his vast inheritance, ultimately revealing the truth and bringing the perpetrators to justice.

Flying T ranch owner Sam Talbot is killed in a suspicious horse riding accident, leading St. Louis reporter Connie Edwards to investigate rumors of murder. She teams up with Roy Rogers, editor of the local newspaper, to uncover the truth. As they dig deeper, they discover that Talbot's niece Jan, Steve McClory, and coroner Jim Judnick are behind the murder, and are now plotting to eliminate Talbot's 12-year-old ward, Duke Lowery, to inherit the ranch.
