Two men embark on a journey to build their own time machines, driven by personal motivations. Rob Niosi, a stop motion animator, recreates the iconic time machine prop from the 1960 adaptation of H.G. Wells' "The Time Machine" to relive memories of watching the film with his father. Meanwhile, Dr. Ron Mallett, a theoretical physicist, aims to build a real time machine to go back in time and save his father's life, inspired by his own tragic loss at a young age.
