Goofy's beach adventure is filled with humorous mishaps. He starts by attempting to swim, using a piano stool as a makeshift float, and then tries to change in a tiny beachhouse, ending up underwater. His picnic lunch is disrupted by cramps that tie him up in knots. Next, Goofy takes on diving, but it doesn't go as planned. Finally, he tries to ride the surf in an inner tube, only to have it punctured by an anchor and later transformed into a slingshot by cleverly placed posts.
