A young Serbian-Albanian woman, Adria Shala, is an illegal immigrant in Marseille, haunted by her past. Flashbacks reveal her rescue from rape by Srdjan Vasiljevic, a deserter, in Kosovo in 1999. The two move to Belgrade, where Srdjan becomes a gangster and assassin, and Adria learns to shoot and assists him in his work, eventually becoming his mistress.
