Impromptu

In 1830s Paris, renowned novelist George Sand, known for her unconventional views and writings, attends a weekend gathering of esteemed artists and creatives at the country estate of the Duke and Duchess of Angers. Despite initial reservations, George hopes to escape her tumultuous affair with Jean Pierre Félicien Mallefille and meet the acclaimed Polish composer Frédéric Chopin, whom she has fallen in love with through his music. As she pursues Chopin, she must navigate the complexities of their differences and the presence of other guests, including her former lovers, her children, and her confidante, Countess Marie D'Agoult, who harbors a secret desire for Chopin.
