It Happened on Fifth Avenue

Two struggling individuals stumble upon a grand estate, left vacant by its wealthy owners who have flown south for the winter, and find themselves unexpectedly taking up residence.

The wealthy Michael J. O'Connor leaves his 5th Avenue mansion for his winter home, only to have a homeless man, Aloysius T. McKeever, take up residence in the empty mansion. This winter, McKeever befriends Jim Bullock, a struggling veteran, and they decide to share the mansion. The group soon grows to include Jim's army friends, their families, a runaway heiress, her mother, and even Michael J. O'Connor himself.
