Jogwa

A pair of individuals are mysteriously bound to a powerful deity, fostering a deep connection as they endeavor to escape their enslavement and forge a fresh beginning, only to be hindered by the prevalent superstitions of their community.

In a rural Indian village, Suli, a young girl on the cusp of womanhood, is forced into servitude to the local deity due to superstitions and community pressure. She meets Tayappa, a man living as a woman, and they form a deep bond. Despite their similar circumstances, their love blossoms, but they face disapproval from the community. The film is a poignant tale of one woman's journey to break free from oppression, discrimination, and servitude to find true happiness.
