In 1930s Chittagong, a group of teenage boys are forced to leave their football field by British soldiers. They join a group of freedom fighters led by Surjya Sen, who is waiting for Gandhi's one-year ban on violence to end. Surjya raises funds, buys weapons and vehicles, and recruits two women, Pritilata and Kalpana. They plan to disable communications, liberate comrades, and take hostages at the European Club. However, the women are forced to leave due to family pressure, and the group's plan is compromised by Good Friday and a lack of ammunition. Despite these setbacks, they manage to cut off communications and transportation, but must now evade the British while struggling to survive with limited resources.
