Captain Neetu Singh, a Delhi-based CBI officer, is tasked with investigating the assassination of Maharashtra's Chief Minister Satyaprakash. Her investigation uncovers a complex web of deceit and corruption, leading her to conclude that Home Minister Bhavani Prasad Lala and Superintendent of Police Waghmare were behind the killing. As she delves deeper, she meets Fatima and learns about her son Hussain, who was wrongly convicted and imprisoned. Neetu decides to help Hussain, but her own life takes a drastic turn when evidence surfaces that she hired a hit-man to kill Satyaprakash. Found guilty, she is sentenced to prison, where she faces physical and emotional abuse at the hands of the Jail Superintendent. After managing to escape, Neetu's mother is told that her daughter has been shot dead, paving the way for Bhavani to become the next Chief Minister.
