When Natalie Ross goes missing, her friend Amanda accuses her ex-boyfriend Cameron, but he's cleared of suspicion. Amanda's roommate Zoe rents Natalie's room to Hayley, who becomes close to Amanda. When Cameron threatens Amanda, Hayley defends her and they grow closer. However, Cameron's violence escalates, and Hayley kills him.
