A nursing student named Asuka moves into a new apartment with her family, only to be awoken by strange scratching sounds coming from her reclusive neighbor's apartment. She discovers his dead body, with signs of malnutrition and attempts to claw his way into her room. Asuka learns that there have been many strange deaths in the complex, and rumors of it being haunted spread. When the scratching returns, she encounters the old man's apparition and becomes panicked, seeking help from a handyman and a spiritualist. However, the spiritualist uncovers a surprising truth: a small boy with a tragic past is living in the complex, connected to Asuka's own denied tragedy.
