Morgan, an outlaw, steals the Carruthers' young son in a quest for revenge. Seventeen years later, Carruthers arrives in the valley where Morgan, his gang, and the now grown Bob are hiding. Morgan shoots Tracy, then tells Bob that Carruthers is responsible and sends Bob to exact revenge. However, unbeknownst to Bob, Morgan has loaded his gun with blanks.
