A young boy named Tad joins his family at his dad's letter factory, where they're working on a talking letter book. Tad feels left out when he realizes he doesn't know the sounds that letters make, so he goes on a journey to learn them. With the help of Professor Quigley, Tad visits rooms dedicated to each letter of the alphabet, learning the sounds of each one. By the time he reaches the end, he's an expert and the family's project is a huge success.
