In this drama, Angela deMarco, trapped in an unhappy marriage to a powerful Mafia figure, seizes the chance to escape the underworld after her husband's death. However, Tony Russo, her husband's former boss, pursues her, leading the FBI to mistakenly believe she's his new mistress. As the FBI starts monitoring her, agent Mike Downey goes undercover as her neighbor, only to find himself falling for Angela.
