Brendan, a TV star, wants to come out to his parents as gay. He confides in his best friend Cory, who is also gay, in Florida. However, Cory's actions in LA, rather than helping Brendan, put him in awkward situations that threaten his career. Meanwhile, Cory gets into a one-night stand with Emily, a lesbian on the rebound, and struggles with her identity.
