Memories of Underdevelopment

As Sergio navigates the aftermath of the Bay of Pigs incident, he reflects on his life and the departure of loved ones. Alone in a tumultuous Havana, he faces the perpetual threat of foreign invasion and indulges in a series of fleeting relationships with young women. His quest for companionship ultimately leads him to Elena, a young and innocent girl he tries to shape into the image of his ex-wife, but this pursuit comes at a personal cost.
