Two friends, Tim and Can, exploit a manipulative tactic to deceive women at bars, claiming one of them is terminally ill to gain sympathy and a guaranteed hookup. Tim's scheme leads him to Marie, and despite initially using her for a night, they develop real feelings for each other. Marie cares for her ailing older sister Edda, who has lost her will to live and spends most of her time bedridden, waiting for death. While Marie still believes Tim is terminally ill, Edda is aware of the truth - that Tim is faking his condition.
