A man follows traffic and becomes obsessed with his neighbor's daughter, Amy. He becomes her first lover, but she leaves again. He moves to LA to pursue a job at Metro Traffic Control, where he meets Amy again, who's now engaged. He's rejected from the job and instead becomes involved with his cougar landlady.
