Ganga Singh, a young woman from Gangotri, falls in love with Narendra Sahay, a college student, and they get married. However, Narendra disappears, leaving Ganga to raise their child alone. She embarks on a journey to Calcutta to confront him and ensure a better future for her son. Along the way, she faces numerous challenges, including exploitation, molestation, and being forced into prostitution. Despite her struggles, Ganga remains determined to reach Calcutta and reclaim her life.
