Deputy U.S. Marshal Whip Wilson arrives in Pecostown, Texas to investigate a series of cattle rustlings. He discovers the body of his colleague, Deputy Dunbar, and sets out to track down the culprit. Along the way, he meets Nora Neal, whose father was wrongly accused of killing the sheriff and is now serving a life term in prison. Whip learns that Nora and her accomplice, Danny Bronson, are stealing back the stolen cattle, and that the true culprits are Jack Hall and his henchman, Brad Bradshaw. With the help of his friend Winks Holliday and the new sheriff, Jim Scott, Whip sets out to bring the Hall gang to justice.
