Buck Sinclair is in love with Beth Ringold, but her father, George Ringold, is his enemy and wants her to marry his business partner, "Mile-a-Way" Roberts. When Buck's lease on valuable government land expires, Ringold tries to stop him from bidding on it, but a local rancher named "Wildcat" Roper helps Buck. Roberts hires a professional gunman named "Sundown" to eliminate Buck.
