Jimmy Wakely gets into a fight with a feed-store owner, Buck, when he tries to buy feed for a stray calf on credit. Jimmy and a store hand, Lasses White, are arrested and sent to work on a ranch, where they team up with three singers to uncover a cattle rustling gang led by a town banker and the ranch's foreman.
