Cliff Jordan, a skilled stunt driver, takes a job with his old friend Jerry McGee, who is married to Cliff's former girlfriend Mary. Cliff soon finds himself at odds with Pusher Wilks, a rival trucker whose route he has taken over, and Pete Simmons, Jerry's son and Jane Chandler's boyfriend.
