In the summer of 1910 on the Canadian prairies, a young boy named Jay strives to save up enough money to buy his dream horse. When four mischievous monkeys fall off a circus cart, Jay sees an opportunity to earn the reward money. As he cares for the chimps, he forms a strong bond with them, making it increasingly difficult to part with his new friends.
