The General

A lone engineer, unaware of his crucial contributions to the war, embarks on a treacherous solo quest to reclaim his beloved locomotive from Union forces and navigate treacherous terrain to bring it back home.

In this classic silent film, Johnnie is torn between his loyalty to his beloved train, "The General", and his love for Annabelle Lee. When the Civil War breaks out, Johnnie is deemed too valuable as an engineer to join the fight, leading Annabelle to mistakenly believe he's a coward. But when Union spies capture The General, with Annabelle on board, Johnnie must embark on a daring rescue mission to save both his loves.
