In 19th-century France, Teresa Garan, a teenage daughter of a cabaret-singer single mother, is sent to Ms. Fourneau's boarding school. However, she soon discovers that the school is a prison, where students are subjected to bullying and torture by the wicked student Irene Tupan and kept locked up by the strict Ms. Fourneau. As students start to vanish, Teresa learns that they are being abducted and murdered by a serial killer.
