Matt Kilgore and his men falsely accuse and hang an innocent man, prompting Lige Saunders to send for his son Wild Bill to seek justice. Upon arrival, Wild Bill finds his father dead, killed by Matt's brother. Seeking revenge, Bill fights and kills the brother, but Matt retaliates by sending two fake deputies to arrest Bill, planning to hang him. However, Matt's sister, who has developed feelings for Bill, overhears the plan and rides to his rescue.

In a manipulative plot, the Kilgore brothers falsely accuse Sam Griffin of cattle rustling, leading to his brutal hanging. They then take in Griffin's daughter, who is being cared for by Ol' Mitch, as part of their sinister plan.
